Summary

CodingFormatter is a static website. Tool input you paste into formatters, validators, converters, or encoders is processed only in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers. We do not operate an application database of user pastes.

Information we do not collect from tools

• JSON, XML, SQL, YAML, CSV, HTML, JWT, Base64, or other tool payloads
• Files you upload into a tool (read locally via the FileReader API)
• Drafts stored in your browser localStorage (they never leave your device)

Information we may collect with consent

If you accept non-essential cookies, we may load:

• Google Analytics 4 - anonymized usage metrics (pages viewed, custom events like tool_run without payload content)
• Google AdSense - advertising cookies to show ads and measure inventory

You can reject non-essential cookies via the consent banner. Essential site functionality (tools, theme preference, drafts) continues to work.

Contact form

If you message us via email or a third-party form provider (e.g. Formspree), that provider processes the message contents according to their policy. Do not submit secrets.

Local storage

We store theme preference, cookie consent choice, and optional per-tool draft text in localStorage on your device only.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13.
